Your Private Data Remains Private

We Never View Private Photos, Letters etc

There have been many reports of private data having been accessed from a computer after the the computer was disposed of (as faulty) or sold or gifted to a 3rd party.

This is because files which are deleted in Windows are not actually deleted. Therefore these files can be accessed by someone with the appropriate knowledge or the correct software (which is available on the "dark web").

Our background is in computers, data and security. Kevin has worked on and resolved issues on numerous ministry of defence projects at numerous locations (eg; Abbey Wood - Ministry of Defence Procurement Centre, AWE - Atomic Weapons Establishment, Fleet Air Arm, GCHQ, MDBA and many others).

We understand security and A&A Computers never view home computer users files. However, we can check files for viruses, malware and spyware (without opening the folders). We can permanently delete files, we can save files, destroy hard drives, save data from hard drives and / or completely destroy hard drives, we can remove hard drives, fit them into an external caddy and return the caddy (with hard drive) to the client.

We never sell computers.

When we receive a home computer which is to be recycled, we remove the hard disk drive. We then run a series of tests to determine whether the computer components are serviceable. faulty or non-reusable components are removed and recycled.

Some usable components (such as screens, CPUs etc) are stored but will probably never be used. Other components (such as memory) may be supplied to clients at no cost or very little cost.

No Items are resold

If a hard drive is destroyed, we supply certification.
