If the original HDD is faulty (cannot be cloned), you will obviously need your Windows Recovery CDs. If your Recovery CDs are unavailable, faulty or will not work with a new HDD (some recovery CDs need t load Recovery or installation data from the original HDD) we can usually supply a fully functional & legal build of Windows XP which uses your original Windows XP Product Key - Windows XP Licence or full Windows Recovery CDs - Windows Restore CDs. This cloning service is available for IDE desktop - tower PC hard drives, SATA desktop - tower PC hard drives & IDE laptop - notebook PC hard drives at a cost of £15 per drive. Additionally; we can fit the original hard drive into a high quality external Infosafe HDD caddy (as used by A&A Computers - Genner Communications both in-house & on site) to provide additional storage space. The cost of the caddy (with fitting) is £15.
