However, if a data recovery program has been used, this will often render the data unreadable (some utilities change the data, thus making it useless). About Fake USB Flash Drive Issues

Many online auction sites and online sales websites are currently selling Fake USB Flash Drives. These fake USB Flash Drives are often advertised as having a capacity of up to 1TB (1000gb) to 2TB (2000gb) whereas the genuine capacity is often up to 8gb.

These fake USB Drives will have been reprogrammed to show a false capacity. When data is saved to a fake USB Flash Drive, anything above the true capacity will cause data loss.

We can usually recover lost data and provide confirmation of the drives true capacity (thus allowing the owner - victim) to obtain a full refund.

Note; 1TB or 2TB storage is absolutely massive. Transfer of large volumes of data will always require a fast interface. USB3 is approx 10 times faster than USB2. USB3 connections are usually blue. So; if a USB drive does not have a blue socket (internally) or if it is not advertised as being USB3, then there is every probability that it is not a large capacity USB Flash Drive and data should be transferred ASAP.

Business Hard Disk Drive Recovery

Our fast Business Hard Disk Drive Recovery service typically involves either backing up a Business hard disk drive and performing a full reinstallation onto a new Hard Disk drive or to a SSD upgrade (an SSD drive will often double the overall performance of a computer), or we can usually clone the original hard disk drive onto the new hard drive or SSD.

We have dedicated data recovery facilities and always attempt to recover data the same day. However, sometimes this is simply not possible due to data corruption and - or the sheer amount of data to be recovered. Additionally; we do not save back to the drive which is being recovered (this ensures that the original data is not damaged further)
